Manufacturing Excellence Awards Ceremony, 25 June 2009

In January 2009, Absolute Events won the tender to produce all the technical elements of the Manufacturing Excellence Awards Ceremony 2009. This event was held at the London’s Dorchester Hotel in June 2009.  With Paddy Ashdown as the key speaker, over 250 people attended this prestigious awards ceremony.

Absolute Events produced all the video and presentation content, as well as designing a stylish set to suit the brand guidelines of The Institute of Mechanical Engineers. The lighting was designed from scratch and consisted of battery powered up lighters, controlled wirelessly, enabling the room to change colour with each award.

The evening was a huge success with Charlotte Newton from the Institute commenting “Everyone was extremely happy with how the awards went. It was a real pleasure working with you and your team”
